§ 2-171. Establishment of office.

The Garland County Quorum Court hereby officially establishes the Garland County Financial Management Office by the powers vested in this body by A.C.A. §§ 14-14-801(b)(10)—(13) and 14-14-702. The Garland County Financial Management Office shall work with all county elected officials, department heads and staff to keep a clear and correct record of the county's finances. Eleven county departments shall be responsible for a portion of the cost for operating the county financial management office as set out in section 2-174 of this division. Personnel for said office will consist of a comptroller, a human resources director, a finance director, a payroll clerk and an accounts payable clerk. Any increase in personnel for this office will occur only upon the approval of this body in accordance with A.C.A. § 14-14-801(6).
