§ 42-111. Notification of application for retirement benefits.

Any elected official or department head that attempts to collect benefits pursuant to the requirements of the Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System (APERS) shall notify the county judge and the quorum court, in writing at least 30 days in advance of the submission of any necessary documents to apply for said benefits.
