§ 50-67. Screening requirements.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or have under his control in the unincorporated areas of the county, a junkyard, salvage yard or automobile graveyard within 300 feet of the nearest edge of a right-of-way of any highway or roadway in the county unless the junkyard, salvage yard or automobile graveyard is properly screened so that it is not visible from the traveled highway or roadway.

(b)

A junkyard, salvage yard or automobile graveyard shall be properly screened when it is not visible from the highways or roadways in the county because of natural objects, plantings of perennial nature or fences. The screen shall be such that it blends in with the environment of the area.
